That looks great! It is on my long list of things to do on my cruiser so keep us up to date on how the JB Weld holds up. Is the UPOL liner built up thick enough to add to the support of the JB Weld in the holes? I am curious as to how long it will hold up. Again, that looks great, nice job!

Derrick, I did the JB Weld and UPOL thing almost two years ago. Mine is holding up great. UPOL is not a rubberized coating. It's a polymer, so it is a harder coating (like plastic) which basically would support itself.

Thanks Reid! (sp?)

The linex job looks killer on Buttercup! It really ties in well with the black bumpers.

Kudos to Christo from Slee Off Road!!!

So, I’m done with the Linex Saturday night, I need to wait until Sunday to dry it…

I drove home and I totally forgot about the U bolts hanging from the frame…

Next day, surprise… I was missing one U bolt…

The driver side, with fuel lines to support it, I’m missing one there, the one close to the rear door…
Passenger side, both of them, OK…

So the U bolts are made by Slee Off Road, there is nothing similar at any auto parts or muffler store close by… I called Christo Monday morning, and he mail me a couple U bolts for “FREE” as customer satisfaction…

Yes, I had expend some money whith him, but still, I’m extra happy with his products and services.

That looks great! I am about to de-flare my 450. I see you taped the back side of the holes to support the JB weld. How big a deal is it to pull the door panels on the 450? I don't have a FSM and don't want to just start tugging on them... I have taken other panels off before. Is it just the usual clips and couple of screws, or is there something "tricky"? Again, looks awesome!
