Personally... I need a X mas tree.

If its just Jason and I we'll hit sooke but if others are interested I'm in for wherever...

Who's in?
Where we goin?

Totally interested. Going to put the roof racks on this Sat. I'm up for Sooke, but is there a better place to get a tree? Some place different than the last few trips?

We also need a tree... But I would prefer something less scratchy than the far side of Muir. Maybe go in at Jordan River? Lots of open trails there...

Lol. Those bushes have it in for us! :censor: They seem especially bad there.

Dan - Yes, and yes! Putting together my tools already. Will be bringing the hi-lift this time too... just in case. Now that I'm carrying it though I won't need it. Which I guess is a good thing! I'll go out again when you're back in town!

So I talked to Jason today and we decided we'd head out Sooke way. We thought that "up islanders" might chime in and want to go lookin out their way but since no one has posted as of yet... Sooke it is.

Its going to be a short run... not an all day affair (so long as Andrew doesn't braek anything):flipoff2:
Meet 11:00 am at the A&W.

From there we will decide where to go to grab a tree, or several. I also know some areas out Jordan River way. Ill have the wife and kids as will Jayson, trail BBQ at Jason's tailgate round lunchtime. Easy Peezy.

Oh yeah Jayson.... cookout at your truck.... just so you know:popcorn:

I think I'll even make this one, occupying a passenger seat tho...still haven't had time to work on my rig!

Good run lads.

Must admit I was a bit lazy when it came to picture taking this time but Gina snapped a few.

Thanks for the run. Sorry we weren't ready to play in the Nissan. It was good to meet a few more folks, and the kids too.

With any luck, here are a few photos.

Nigel is finishing up the welding on my hatch shortly, and so soon the truck will be on pavement. dirt will have to wait till i either put a 4.56 in the front or 4.11s in both axles.

Sweet! Some good shots. Post up some more! Or send them to me in email and I'll host them/post them for you... that way it doesn't use up your upload count.
