another meet I missed!! My AC was acting up, it would blow cold for a few minutes after pulling it out of the garage, but then i'd hear the belt squeal and then got the furnace blast. Checked the belts and the AC belt is chunked out and dry rotted and the other 2 are cracked too.
I didnt feel like driving the cruiser all the way down without AC, so I spent a little time in the garage attempting to get the old belts off. PB Blaster to the rescue and I got them off. Back on, after a trip Saturday morning to Camelback Toyota, but just not quite sure when the belts are too tight or not tight enough. Any tips?
