What is a VX-R (1 Viewer)

I am shopping a new Cruiser and I found a 1995 that has a Hood ornament and has a VX-R badge on the back. Can any one enlighten me on what a VX-R Cruiser is? Thanks

Not sure where you're posting from, but the VX-R is the top-o-the-line cruiser sold in many countries other than the USA. Mine is a middle east spec VX-R.

It's a 1993, has the climate control set and forget temp controls, sub tank, compass, altimeter, 12-disk changer, cooler box (with original ice cube rays!), hand throttle, power windows, rear AC etc. . .

The other models I see here in Qatar are GX (base) and VX (mid-range).

Can you post a pic or two? Someone may have put that badging and hood ornament on a US FZJ80. I don't think you would find that model legally in the US....not saying there aren't some but it would be very difficult to get it into the country.

Is there a number in the Vin for identify US spec VS Non or world or something?

In Layman's terms, this is a normal 1995 US spec FZJ80 that someone has added the VX-R plate to (and a hood ornament??). You didn't say what the hood ornament was btw...
