I searched for a while and found a lot of info on the subject, just couldn't figure out my situation. IT seems the unused harness behind the dash doesnt fit my hazard switch.

I gotta be looking at the wrong one or somethin..
little help?

Of course it does work!!! Just look that your connector and switch plastic guides/tabs don't match. Get a small file or a knife and cut off a piece of plastic and you're done. I just can't explain it any better. Simply pay close attention to the shape of the connector and socket and you'll figure it out.

Ditto on what Mike said. I just did this mod yesterday. I used a small hacksaw blade to cut the connector. Plug and play at that point. Works great.

That definately crossed my mind but I didn't have the ballz to try it. I was afraid I might fry somthing. Aven the guys at Slee advised against it. Maybe they were just interested in selling me a switch. It worked cause I bought one.

It worked for me. I bought the hazard switch off ebay, I think it was from a 91 Paseo.

i wanted to try this because ive never seen a CDL or ABS light...

Switched the harnesses, hit the button and can hearthe relay that i hear when i put it in low, im guessing the CDL... But no light...

Put the truck in gear and drive it back and forth a little to see if it engages.
