I have searched around the site for pictures of 80 series rigs with the stock 4Runner or T100 5 spoke wheels but can't seem to find them now that I am interested in picking up a set. Does anyone have pictures of this setup or any links to these pictures? I also tried to find these pictures by searching wheel spacers because I heard that the backspacing on these wheels will require some spacing...anyone have info on this?

Thanks!

I am talking about the aluminum wheels for clarification.

I know I have seen them on here somewhere...

Don't have photos of any T100 wheels, but are these the 4Runner wheels you're wanting to see?

Are the wheels in the second photo 16s or 17s? Those look real nice but I already bought some 315/75/16 snow tires and need the 16s. I probably shouldn't go with 7in wide wheels on them, but am having a hard time finding wheels that I can use and I really like the 5 spoke. I'll post a pic of the ones I am talking about.

Yes, I figured I would need 1.5" wheel spacers to run those wheels. I probably should just trash the idea because putting 315/75/16 tires on 16x7 wheels is generally not a good idea. I just love that style. I guess if I had the $ I would take a set and make them into beadlocks and that would get me somewhere around an 8" width.

Thanks SF80! That looks great. Were wheel spacers installed in those pics? I guess they may not have been necessary with stock sized tires?

I can trade my steel wheels for these from a KZJ90:

They look the same as the 4runner, but the guy told me these are 7.5" wide, I told him to check it again and he told me he was sure.

Are these also forged aluminium like the stock 80 wheels?. Can I expect them to be as resistant as those?

Based on this Mickey Thompson chart, the wider the wheel the more resistant, so I guess the 16x7.5 would be less than the 16x8.
