Well, I had a set of plugs, wires, cap and rotor sitting in my office for weeks and when I finally got around to doing them on Wednesday, I noticed the #1 oil seal had a slight leak :o

No point in halfassing it, so I ordered up a set as well as a new valve cover gasket from the local dealer and while they were trucking it over, I decided to grind the hell out of the cover and shoot some lefover Pontiac engine blue :) (the only high temp paint I had on hand)

Also shot the top covers in bed liner for a gritty look ;)

Under the cover, there was a little varnish (I only run dino oil), but nuthin out of the ordinary

The old wires showed some signs of arcing and the old plugs (NGK's) had a bit of carbon, but were dry as a bone (I'll get some pix of those tomorrow)

wow, interesting color. :)
