This is sorta a repost, but I suspect that the original post didn't accurately describe the question.

With the stock drivetrain, and most importantly the CDL in the transfercase... gone... there is no signal going to the locker ecu to "allow" the lockers to engage. Anyone have a wiring diagram of the locker system? Or perhaps know which wire needs to be grounded or jumped... or something.

lockerless,

You can find the FZJ80 elocker wiring diagrams on this webpage:

Yankee Toys

I think what you will need to do is one or both of the following:

You need to ground the Y-B wire on the elocker ECU harness (pin 15) which is the center diff lock indicator. Grounding this wire should tell the elocker ECU that the center diff is locked.

I don't think so but you might also need to disconnect the B-R wire on the elocker ECU harness (pin 4). This is the mph switch for the elocker operation. Warning: if this switch doesn't funciton then you can attempt to lock your elockers at any speed! I wouldn't do this one unless you need to and it sounds like you probably don't.

Hope that helps.

it works...

talked with gifu, and jumped the yellow/black. Center difflock light illuminated. Lockers activated! Rewired it so the x-fer case MUST be in 4wd to allow the F/R difflocks to activate.

Thanks to gifu, and war damn eagle.

Moab here I come!

cool,

seth
