Ok guys I got another minor dilema here:doh:
I went to my normal tint guy yesterday to find out about getting my windshield and front windows tinted...Heres the problem, he cant match the factory bronze tint. He said he can get a bronze tint but it will look different from the outside of the vehicle:doh:
I really would like all the windows to somewhat match not some huge difference! I have seen some vehicles with mismatched tint and dont like the look at all...Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do:confused: Thanks in advance for the support:D

Sorry I dont have a better pic right now but I figured I would include a pic just for sh*ts and giggles...
Yes I realize the ds window is half way down and I apoligize as this is not the best pic for this thread...
I will try and update with a better pic if needed but mainly just added a pic so nobody would ask for one... Thanks
My 96 LC 002 (Small).webp

I just had my windows tinted yesterday with bronze 35 and it matches real well. All of the factory tinted windows have a reflective coating that is seen from the outside of the vehicle. I was worried that the front windows would not match, but they look really good...but they don't have the reflective coating. From the inside, the tint matches almost identical, from the outside you can only tell it's different at certain angles...but it still looks 'factory' IMHO.

Yeah, I want to go get mine tinted as well, but then saw a thread posted by someone after they had their LX done, and the tints didnt match front to back, which is something I dont want on my truck. If anyone comes up with a good solution, thatd be great!

There is no real way to match the factory tint. You are correct, there is a reflective element to the factory tint. Almost all aftermarket film will not have that to the same extent. Have seen them before, but never in bronze! Used to own an Audio/Tint shop in Chicago. That was one of the biggest dilemas people had. They all wanted a perfect factory match. Only real way to get all windows to match is no factory tint, which isn't really an option these days on most models.

I had my windows done yesterday as well. I didnt even notice the difference between the factory tint and the new tint. Here is a picture. I did have limo tint all around except on driver and pass. front windows due to the law here in CA. Looks good though....at least I think it does!:)

Sorry to start this old thread up again but I need to get some more info:doh:

I have found that nobody has bronze 35 for autos only for home or business use:mad: They said its been discontinued and that charcoal is what everyone is using now??? Duh I dont want charcoal!

Is your tint auto or building tint? Person I talked to said you cant use this for whatever reason:confused: I dont see why it wouldnt work?

I just want a good match and cant see using anything else, since yours looks way better than anyone elses that posted a pic in this thread... Thanks Jason

To match the tint with the rest of windows, Front driver side and front passenger side try these light bronze first, then on top of it tint again with light quantum S-22.

Good luck

Thanks LX is this whats on your truck and what brand/manufacturer?
Thanks Jason
