Hey, we picked up this OG owner 85 FJ60 a few weeks ago, and decided it was too pretty to part out or sell for a crawler project.

The previous owner was a sweet little old lady and wanted it to get back on the road after she seized the motor. She recently had it repainted (original color) and it passed smog a few weeks before the catastrophic failure .

It has 235,XXX miles so we decided to throw in a lower mileage setup from a 84' we had sitting around. With about 170k on it.

Here are some pics of it when we got it. Post pulling the motor.

Freshening up the new(er) 2F. All new gaskets, resurfaced the head, and $PLENTY$ of new parts.

Resprayed the firewall too. Turned out well.

Completely undercoated the belly and inner fenders...great look, but not fun cleaning!

Anybody have a steam cleaner they are looking to sell :D.

Painted the frame, axles, springs, and ourselves with a few coats of satin black. No POR 15, but looks nice and holds up well.

Please nobody steal our custom tin foil exhaust. They will be for sale in the vendor section soon. Patent pending.

Still to do:

Rebuilding calipers
New brake lines on front end (crunched)
install front clip
Hook up everything under the hood
Spray hood and fenders
beautify interior

lookin good but the add-a-leaf is installed wrong

She certainly is purdy...

The add a leaf was on it when we got it. Installed back in 95' she said. I've never even done an add a leaf, but it looked odd to me.

Obviously, it's held up ok.

Looks good!!
How much do you want to sell it for..??

pretty sweet! Nice color too, nothing like a freshly painted 2f.

Here's my motor from my rebuild lately.:smokin: Yours looks way better though.

A freshly painted engine always look awesome underneath the hood of a Land Cruiser..!!!!

You guys are great! All I have time to do is keep them running good. MIke

Shiny...Plus my shop partner used to own a high polish business so these are going to be mirrors.
