Has anyone removed the sliding window for the BJ44? The frame for the window is metal and we can't find a way to remove it. Thanks for the help!

I figured it out. The side sliding windows are mostly held in with black window sealant. I believe it is about the same thing as what is used to hold in a windshield. The trick to this process was 2 people and a heat gun. I also found that using those plastic tools for taking off and putting on bicycle tires helped out a LOT. Here are a few pics of the work.

Just to check, did the BJ44's sliding windows metal frame sit completely outside of the flange on the hardtop part of the window frame? Second question, does the weather stripping sit completely inside the metal frame or orverlap it. I noticed the weather stripping has a groove that appears to go over the outside edge of the window frame.

I'm in the middle of trying to install some BJ42 sliding windows on to my FJ40.
