does anyone know if 305/50R20's will fit a 200 without a lift? i presume 1" lift if it is needed.

That's a 0.5" increase in diameter, it would fit no problem WITHOUT a lift. You do realize going to 20s will make the ride extremely harsh and you will feel every bump, your back will complain.

amir904, i have no choice as i am installing Brembo 6-piston caliper front brakes which are very big and require the larger rim size. any suggestions i would appreciate.

i just hope that the 305's don't rub

I looked into this option as well and I think you can get away with a 19 inch wheel, however we start to split hairs between the two sizes.

If you do this, take lots of pictures and show clearences around the wheels. Give us a good feel for how things changed...before and after.

That kit solves the problem of the lack luster breaks...but there is a cost and that is a larger wheel. I don't know if I want to jump up in tire size just for better brakes just yet.

it's just had the TRD SC installed therefore these brakes are a must. i've had them on 3 previous G55 Merc's and they are worth every penny (crazy expensive).

as soon as i get to the US to pick up the truck i'll post pics of it with the 20's. i choose the 20's as there is a lot more tire selection in this size.

hi,
can anyone tell me what the stock height of front and back is? my Radflo's are set to minimum height increase (see pics), I've had each corner measured.

truck is at sparks now and brakes will be on by Monday and i will post the pics as well. I've asked them to take pics of the SC installation as it progresses; currently in the process of being installed, will be completed by this afternoon.

thanks in advance for any feedback/input.

Can you take a closer pic on side view i wanna see the wheel gap and height. What spring did you use for the rear?

Will get pics. Did not change springs at all. Believe the profile of the 20" wheels are deceiving. Does anyone know stock height (front and rear)?

How big is the difference from stock tires with the new one? Looks like stock

You must be a Land Cruiser nut :steer:
With the amount of money your spending upgrading on "go fast" upgrades you might just have gone Cayenne S or Turbo.

I don't do porsche! only MB and Toyota. 90% of my driving on-road and through mountains, indeed i like to go fast. regardless of what i spent on this truck, a stock V8 4.6L LC200 cost you just above US$130'000.00 from a dealer in Switzerland :crybaby:.

I think unless you get aftermarket wheels with different offset you will have rubbing issues on the upper A-arm with that wide of a tire, unless you swap those out too, the 285's leave very little room, you would be increasing your width almost a half inch in each direction and when the tires are turned the gap becomes even smaller, just my 2 cents...

I just read the post above, I guess I was wrong, looks like they fit? I would also think what tire brand you go with will affect it too, I have the Goodyear Duratrac 275's and it's tight, I'm guessing a 305 tire with side tread would be super tight, just my guess...

Take a close look at the pics he posted ... You can see the Total Chaos UCAs behind the front tires.

how much additional clearance to the Total Chaos UCA's give you?
