thought it was a current thread and noticed it was made march 2012

wouldve been all over this deal

anyone have a current code?

They just had a $100 off sale that was good through the end of last month. I'm sure they will have one again soon. Or, give them a call and see if you can bribe them.

Oops! I forgot to post the pics of mine... So far I love them! I had them plate the rear so my daughters foot wouldn't get stuck trying to step into the truck. No powdercoating, just rattle canned gloss black:

Not a big deal at all, but they do touch the LX moulding. This would not be an issue at all with a LC, it's the plastic on the LX that causes some interferance. No noises or anything and still mounted up easily.

Finally got mine on! Now, waiting for a good roof rack sale...

Included a shot underneath so AHC people can see how the supports attach.

hello metal tech....

i count at least 3 peeps

mini group buy for savings?

We will be doing another sale on the OPOR sliders in the up coming months. We announce the sales through our flyers that we post in the vendor section and through our email distribution system. If you want to be notified of the sale join our newsletter that we send out bi-monthly.

How about the MT sliders? Hoping to see the $200 off deal again :)

My left side touches the body in the front (as some of your pics show above) but the right side doesn't. Should I loosen it and try to pry a gap or is it futile?

It is making grinding noises that I hear by my left foot as I drive over rough surfaces. Are there tricks that you guys do like putting teflon tape in between...?

Glad to hear it is not just my sliders. My custom sliders were slightly hitting the pinch weld when hitting bumps; we tried pulling them down to give more clearance but could budge more than 1/16. I am going to simply weld them to the frame at the point it doesn't hit and be done with it. If you find another solution, let me know.

get a BFH and knock the pinch welds down

Yeah, mine did that because they were mounted too tight to the body. Loosen them up and slide them all the way down before re-tightening. In my case it was the center leg rubbing on the body as it flexed. Bamarock has a good solution.
With a 1/4" gap it won't rub. Search on this forum for more tips, it seems to be a common problem.

Well, I couldn't wait so I put my order in...I did get a decent discount.

I just had the guys at Metal-tech installed the sliders this morning. Props to Brandon for taking care of me.
