When I purchased my new rear rotors and pads, I had the option to go for the usual Toyota pads at £55 or the Toyota Optifit pads at £30 has anyone heard of this from Toyota in the USA perhaps Toyota UK have decided to try and reduce costs on service items to the end user.
If anyone has the normal pads to hand, do they have the same numbers as the ones in the photo's?
When I ordered my last set of rear pads from the local dealer, they gave me the option for OEM or a lower line sold under the Toyota name...
I forget the name they called it as I wasn't interested in anything less than OEM, but it could very well have been Optifits I guess

Cheaper Toyota parts
Today I changed my rear rotors, I didn't bother to change the pads as I had fitted them a couple of K ago and they looked as new, but I did take a photo of the the pads to show you that the more expensive pads that I fitted before have exactly the same printing as the cheaper pads I purchased the other day (previous post)
They have the same numbers and look identical, the only difference is the 6 digit stamped number into the metal, perhaps thats a batch number? but to me the cheaper Toyota pads are totally identical to the Toyota expensive pads.
