2Lt to 5l Coverstion Alternator Help

ok so the last thing i have to do on my LJ70 is wire up the alternator off the original lume theres 3 wires a Green , Blue and White that connect to a plug that go's to the alternator reg.





this is the 3L or 5L alternator reg



So i need to work out what colour wire go to what can you's help me

this plug has 3 wires off it yellow/black Black/yellow white

I wouldn't modify the alternator itself.

Modify the wiring that connects the truck to the alternator. All alternators work the same way, and it's just a matter of how many wires (and which ones they are) as to how to make them work.

If you're not clear enough on doing it yourself--take it to an alternator shop and they can probably tell you just by looking at it how to wire it up.

didtnt want to modify it just put the photos up so someone could work out what wires what. tested them last night. theres 3 wires out of each of the plugs 2 small wires that connect to a brush each on both regs. 1 bigger wire on both regs not sure if it matters the order of both small wires off the brushes?
