It is not an outlandish setup, but in case anyone is looking at doing something similar, here are some non-native terrain pics showing the results on my ride. I am pleased with how this turned out. Thanks to Slee for subbing the medium load rear springs when I called to order the heavy load kit.

Suspension Kit:
- OME 850 front springs
- OME 860 rear springs
- 2 x N73, 2 x N74E Nitrocharger Shocks

Wheels:
- Rock Crawler Series 97 16" x 10" rims (4" back spacing)
- Interco Super Swamper TrXus M/T Radial 33" x 12.5" x 16 tires

Coming soon:
- steel replacement rear bumper
- sliders

I like the stance. I have often thought about a 10 inch wheel with close to the factory backspace. Have you had a chance to stuff the wheels to check for rubbing under full compression?

Oh, welcome...:flipoff2:

BEAUTIFUL!!!

By far one of my favorite looking setups.

I love the black rock crawlers!

Very nice! Just get the sliders quick.

cruiserdan, thanks for the welcome from your awesome state of NM. :) I did not think to check for rubbing under full compression. Will check it this weekend.

Imola Red, thanks, and are you ever right. Never realized how ugly those side steps were until I found this forum! Now I can't wait to get rid of them.

LX_TREME, the factory rear bumper is yours if you want it. I am told by Slee the new rear bumper may take a while.

sweet setup looks gorgeous, where in VA are ya?

Nice job,
I also have the 850/860 combo and really like it.
I will probably end up adding spacers to widen the stance.

nice rig!

welcome aboard :flipoff2:

AWESOME looking RIG.. I have been looking for a set of wheels for my rig and for the price I will be getting the exact same setup!!!!. I love how the Swampers look in this truck.. Welcome to the forum...

I like that stance but I gotta think they are gonna rub in a full stuff.

I thought a 2.5" lift with 33" tires was pretty commonplace. Why would you expect rubbing? The 12.5" width?

10" wheels and 33 x 12.5 tires. 33's are fine with no lift at all - it's the width that's of topic.

EDIT: BTW Nelson, the stance looks cool!

The rubbing potential comes in because he is not running stock wheels. Stockers are 8 inches bead-to-bead and have 4.5 inches of backspace. His wheels move the outer flange 2.5 inches outward because they are 10 inches wide with 4 inches backspace. The tire size he has chosen will not rub with stock wheels but it might with the wider wheel.

Thanks Dan. That makes it very clear. I was underestimating the wheel's contribution for the width/shape of the tire.

Nice job, Nelson, and congrats! I've got the same 850/860 springs on order and it's nice to see it looking good.

On the road, for now don't have a jack with me. But headed on a long, rough trail to a hunting property on the top of Bear Knob in SW VA tomorrow (today), should see plenty of mud action, will try to get some extra stuffage.
