Looks like a good starting point.
The body doesn't look that bad from the pictures.

The coils are a little weird, but easily removed.

Cant wait to see the finished "Great White" because from you first pics, it looks like you have a "blue gill" good luck have fun! Oh and just my $.02, Loose the wheels , they look like intake turbines from an A-10. Keep the pics coming!

The 'gills' are from the PO. I've tried everything to get rid of them but no luck. Gonna have to stay there until I get the whole body repainted.

The wheels are from the previous owner too, I really don't like em either. They're actually different front to back. Actively searching for a nice set of wheels for her, but at this point 'it ain't broke so I not gonna fix it.'

Cheers

nice starting point! I've never seen a snowplow quite like that before!

hahaha...me neither actually!! The van was a police vehicle at one point in its life so I'm thinking it went on then. It looks like it was used to plow something, definitely not snow though, maybe a small car or three. Who knows.

Looking to replace it with the an ARB or something a bit better looking. Want to add some high intensity fogs up front so need something nice to mount them on.

X2 on the wheels they are quite popular in southern A L A B A M A:D..really they are.:whoops:

steelies and hubcaps and those tires would look great............just sayin:meh:

hehe welcome!! im also new to this site ;) but if i may, nice cruiser!! mine has the front bib in a gray/lead color and i was thinking of painting it black like yours, thought of makin a photoshop simulation hehehe but your pics came precisely on time! looks great but i think ill keep my color for the moment, i rather spend the money on some other more important things!

Those rear coils must be helper springs for when the 40 is loaded down and or a trailer is attached. Maybe I missed it? Where are you located? That's one hell of a front bumper! Oh, and your steering is on the wrong side. ;)

A lot of the Aussie's mod coil/leaf combo's like that for the old nissan patrols. Supposed to make things comfier on long bumpy dirt road jaunts. I dont know really.

Oh, and the wheels are definitely fugly but they are W I D E and deep set. Could potentially run FAT tires. But they do look kinda crazy on a 40. I think they are originally Isuzu wheels.
