destin - sorry, I'm no help either.....but where did the pic come from? I'd love to get a template made to make repro tool rolls. thanks and good luck finding a kit. i have a newer one and I'd love to swap the tools into the older style roll. I've got a thread about the tool kits if you want to check it out.....perhaps you could do the same.

You find someone to make them and I would loan you mine from my 67 FJ-45 ( We could work out a deal later )

Cool thanks.

I do not unfortunately know any one who has the interest and skill to make them.
I know someone was doing them a while back, but i do not think they are doing them any more.

Maybe i should start a thread in the 25/45 section and see if we can drum up some interest.

:D

Hey Rob,

Give me a call. Our department has bags and pouches made here in the city. I might be able to get them done using yours as a template.

Destin your probably better off keeping your eyes posted for an old tool roll to pop up for your restoration.

rick_d reproduced the early canvas rolls awhile back for his wagon ventures and had a hard time selling the few extras he had. Even when he did them, ALL of the tools available were different in some way or another(screwdrivers had plastic handles, hammers were from different castings, wrenches had different stampings, grease gun bigger, and forget about that blue pouch with the ignition tune-up tools in it). So if your looking for the true restoration this IS NOT the route to go.

just wanted to put my 2cents in.

You can clearly see the kitty drool in the second pic. Even kitty thinks stinky canvas is cool :D
