Thanks for looking!
I have a 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 sale. It is in great mechanical condition runs and shifts smoothly, and is currently at 113,XXX miles.
Location is Overland Park, KS – part of Greater Kansas City.
Price is $11K, as-is.
Additional pictures are at the following location:

I am the third owner. It is likely in as mint of a condition as you will find! The interior is in like-new condition with the changes noted below.
Exterior has had VERY little rust (most would say none) and all has been treated (see pictures which include all known spots). Paint is generally good to great (shines) condition with noted issues in pictures.
Clear KS title in hand.
The window purchase sticker and all original purchase documentation is included.
It has had the following things done by previous owner or myself, but all within in the last few years:
Previous owner (1-2.5 years ago):
• 2.5” Old Man Emu lift
• Replaced radiator, radiator hoses, etc.
• Replaced starter
• 2010 Scion xB Stereo (Pioneer) with the high-end Pioneer speakers
• Updated undercoating and heavy oil treatment on frame
• Toyota Sequoia interior dash light on ceiling.
• New-looking 4Runner front seats for better support. Driver side has long travel for more room and flexibility of seating.
• FJ Cruiser 17” wheels with spare and new’ish (<10K) 265r70x17 tires.
• New front heavy duty brake rotors with vent holes.
• Converted AC to R134, runs well/cold
• Motorola Bluetooth system
• Remote starter system
Things I have done (last year or so):
• Removed and reinstalled new roof caulking for roof seal. Used quality 3M sealant product.
• Stainless steel flexible break lines, new master cylinder (T-100) and good used FJ60 booster, new front brake calipers and pads.
• Newly routed proportioning valve and bypassed unreliable load sensing proportioning valve
• Professionally built custom rear bumper. One of a kind laser-cut design from Fourrunner. Welded by local master welder, Techtafab, and coated with super tough bed liner from Ameraguard of Lee’s Summit.
• 4+ Front Bumper from Man-A-Fre (MAF). It is coated with super tough bed liner from Ameraguard, too.
• New O2 Sensor on left side exhaust.
• New battery with new stainless steel rack/holder. Second stainless steel battery rack is ready for a second battery.
• Almost new Factory Service Manual.
• Local Toyota dealership did a tune up – replaced all differential oil, adjusted valves and gave an overall inspection. Only noted issue was a slow leaking inner wiper on left front.
Bad stuff:
• Front left wiper seal is messy and leaking a bit - no fast leaks, etc. (see pics via link). I have all materials for front/back axle re-work to include the Moly grease, seals, bearings, etc. Not saying there is an issue, just regular maintenance.
• Front grill has gradual wear of chrome peal from the inside. (see pics)
• Paint shines, but does have wear here and there – it’s not “new,” but paint is shiny and nice and looks better than almost any vehicle of its age as it has always been housed indoors. (see pics for some driver door marks and hood marks)
• Treated rust spots (<dime sized) on inner portion of engine compartment near hood. (see pics)
Other stuff:
• Rear bumper could be finished - needs to be welded up - I have all the components minus the latch to finish it to include the matching swing arms from Fourrunner, spindles (already welded in) and even some black poly-pro cutting board material as a stop.
• Although not installed, also have the rear sway bar with extended links from MAF.
• Full replacement EGR equipment is also included to include SMOG pump, EGR Valve and all other components to include new vacuum tubing, but minus the line back to the mass air flow/air cleaner.
As time permits, I will go through the axles, finish the bumper and do other things to this vehicle in the coming weeks if it doesn’t sell, so I reserve the right to increase the price slightly or put this on ebay, etc.
PM me for phone number to call or reply here, etc. Thanks! Jamie
