Hey guys,

I'm selling my 1997 Lexus LX450 with 226K'ish miles on it after removing some of the parts I had previously built it up to because I lost my job and needed the money, unfortunately. I'm asking $6,000 obo for the truck with the below mods. For someone wanting to build a great trail rig on 39's-42's, this is the perfect beginning of a truck with a lot of high dollar mods already installed and ready to go. I daily drive it, and have since I bought it, which it's fine for, outside of the gas mileage. I need to get a prius to save money, so if anyone has a used prius, let me know what you have, and maybe we can work out a trade.

1) 5.29 Gears Installed
2) Stock Tires & Wheels
3) Fenders are trimmed (37's clear with no suspension lift)
4) Custom front and rear bumpers partially done (remaining tubing to complete them for cost of material)
5) Sliders partially done (remaining tubing to complete them for cost of material)
6) CDL Switch & 7 Pin Mod
7) Roger Brown 2" Body Lift Installed
8) Custom Raised Exhaust & Muffler for Clearance
9) Brake Controller - $250 New
10) Landtank Seat Extensions
11) Slee Offroad HD Tie Rod & Drag Link
12) Slee Offroad HD Ball Joints
13) Longfield Chromoly 4 Piece Super Axles
14) Marlin Crawler HD Inner Axle Seal & Knuckle Service Kit

If you have any questions, I prefer you email me at chrisrademacher at fastmail dot fm

Thanks,

Chris

Bump for a great friend and a good truck. I have personally wheeled this truck and it is AWESOME!

Chris,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your job and having to sell your cruiser. :frown:

I will keep you in my prayers (Not that it means much, but...) and the best of luck to you with finding a new job quickly!

Yours,

Mot

That is a good deal for someone. I believe this was a one owner, only dealer serviced rig until Chris purchased it this year. Right?
Yeah, the lexus was completely stock when I bought it from the owner of M&D Mowing in Wilkesboro in Jan. It was his wife's daily driver till 211K miles, and he did most of the basic maintenance in-house using his on-staff mechanics for his mowing business, and then the rest was handled by the local service shops. The head gasket had ben replaced before I bought it.

Now, I'm headed out to clean up the inside and then pics of that later today, as well. I have a local guy coming over this evening to look at it, so hopefully it goes well.

Job search still sucks...nothing yet, so if someone is serious and willing to make a deal soon, I'm willing to take $10K ASAP, but no lower so don't waste your time making a lower offer. If I can't sell it at this price, I'll probably part it out.

That's a deal for someone!

If you have to part it, I got dibs on the spare wheel/tire.

Hey guys,

Still without a job, so gonna part out the Lexus for some income:

1) Complete 6" Slee Lift - $2K plus shipping
2) Tires & Wheels - Spare Brand New - $1,650 plus shipping
3) Winch Kit - $450 plus shipping
4) 3rd Row Seats - Highest reasonable Offer Accepted plus shipping
5) Truck without the above items returned to stock $6K

I will remove the lift and tires and wheels after money has been received, because I'm still driving this daily. Just had to do a complete radiator flush, new radiator hoses and a new radiator, so it's good to go to a new home. I'm leaving in all the upgraded axle parts, etc that's a pain in the butt to remove, so now someone can get a great truck ready to be lifted and equipped with whatever tires and wheels you want, as well. Plus, with the fenders trimmed, you couldn't probably run 35's with almost no lift at all if you wanted to keep it low. I also just had it aligned and the brakes bleed.
