83' BJ60 Canada truck Big Price Change $7,000obo

Well, I think I'll appologize to you all. I spent much of the day educating myself on our wonderfull trucks and I've come to relize that that JDM market has really lowered the market for older Canadian trucks like mine. I know my frame will need swapping at some point and I've lowered my asking price alot because, well honestly it was way to high to start will. I hope I never offended anyone with my starting price, I just didn't know the market has dropped so much in the past 3 years.

So, the new price is $7,000obo

I'll start by saying I have no idea what it takes to export out of Canada so if it's even possible for this year truck, you'll have to do all the leg work.

Please respond with email to rodtrue(at)shaw.ca more pictures will be emailed upon request. Serious inquires only though please. Let's not waist each other's time.

Here are the specs. Asking $7,000 Can$ Location: Abbotsford BC, Canada

1983 BJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser 3.4L Diesel engine. Wilson switch installed. 5spd manual. Stock tranny gearing etc.

345,000 km’s

2.5” lift Old Man Emu Dakar suspension. Includes:
New leaf springs (this is the heavy/heavy set)
Bushings
Anti-inverse shackles
Greaseable pins
Front and rear shocks
Steering stabilizer.

80 series Land Cruiser rims 16”x8.5” alloy rims. These are strong rims and hard to come by.

On the rims are nearly new BF Goodrich AT ko 265/75/16 tires. Measures out to 32” tires. There is approximately 10,000km’s on the tires. No 16"x32" spare though. I only have the original rim and tire as the spare.

Custom made 4’x7’ roof rack. It is mounted to the gun wall (rain gutters) and can hold approximately 600-800 lbs of gear. Throw the fishing boat up there and strap it down, put your gear underneath. Still room to sleep inside the truck. (I'll throw in my plywood sleeping bed too, not the mattress though.)

The body was fully restored approximately 10 years ago. There are a few small rust bubbles starting to show but the body is in exceptional condition. The rear upper hatch has bad rust on the inside edge. Might want to replace it at some point. The frame is typical of a Canadian Land Cruiser. The rear bumper is rusting. The front bumper is in good shape.

Also has tow hitch and wiring, no ball though.

The interior is in good shape, small rip in the driver's seat on the entry edge (typical). I've put the rear shoulder belts in too (these are not the retractable ones). Also there are two child seat tether clips in the rear cargo area.

This has been our family vehicle for almost 3 years now. It can hold 3 child seats in it with lots of room in the back.

Along with the truck comes a turbo out of a Subaru (I was going to put it on, just ran out of time) no manifold though and a large custom front bumper which is ready for a winch (pictures if requested).

And the pics.

mainlander,

You should not have to apologize for asking what you were asking at the beginning.

That's a good price with a 5spd and other things you've done to it, not to mention it's a diesel, LHD, and can be easily imported into the US!

Here's a bump for ya!

Good luck!!

Mot ;)

IT IS NOT FOR SALE ! the owner decided to keep it and replace the frame, this was is the cleanest bady 60 i had ever seen some one re did the entire body at some point but the frame was completley toast.
the owner brought a rust free frame up from the states and is doing a frame swap.
