For those that missed it ... I act'uly did break my Junk. :frown:

A very slow-speed assault on the largest rock of the rock garden got me high-centered and then heard a pop. :eek:

One of the screws on the flange plate shot out like a bullet and struck Dirty White Boy's Dad in the crowd. Bummer ... I was aimin' for Dirty White Boy. :grinpimp:

Here's the 35-spline, Cro-molly, short-side, outer axle on my front Dana 60 ...

I ain't complainin' much ... my Junk's been damn-good to me for a lotta years. :clap:

My understanding he not only cracked is transmission but broke his Longfield and tore up his driveshaft too --- I hate I missed that cause I never wanna take the line he did!! ;)

as much as I beat the rig in Dec, it was going....most of the noises existed already ;)

Trans is out and at the shop already, K-case in hand for the rebuild (truck HD version)....planning some ribbing to reinforce it too...

front axle is on tomorrow mornings list....

watched the vid again, love it :D
