I was greasing the chassis this morning and hit the front driveshaft u-joint with some grease. I pulled out my grease gun and found the entire zerk fitting still attached to the end of the gun.
I pushed the zerk fitting back in the drive shaft u-joint center, but it won't fit securely. It looks like it's just press fit, no threads. I can easily pull it off with my fingers. How do I fix this? Never had this happen in all my time greasing tractors or trucks (it's been awhile). Thanks
