Wow, looks like an awsome trip. I spent 10 years of my life up there and would like to go back as a visitor. Muncho Lake, Summit Lake, Pink Mountain, Liard River, all bring back lots of memories. Blueberry pie at Pink Mountain, the wolves always howled across Muncho Lake, the old suburban froze up one night in the winter up at the Muncho Lake logde, -40-somthing, took a tiger torch to warm the block enough to start it. Every couple years someone drove off the highway into Muncho Lake, I'm sure you know where I'm talking about and there wasn't much of a guard rail then. Fishing in every little creek and puddle. I think there were a few bugs to swat as well. Worked in Bob Quinn a couple years ago, north of Stewart, and I've been thinking of a trip like that ever since.

Thanks Mark, and everyone else with positive comments. I really enjoyed the trip and doing the write-up.

I've got another write up to do when I get home. I'm currently sitting on top of of a mountain at 1800M with a 360 degree view of the of the Cascades just off the beaten path of Whipsaw trail.

Unfortunately..... The close up view looks worse. A very broken 60 (2 rear axle shafts..... Yeah that's right 2) damaged wheel bearings and seals. A third full of shrapnel and enough mosiquitos to drive anyone mad.

Speaking of flying things... Mark, got a chopper handy that can lift 2700kg + me?

:)

Sorry man, I would if I could though. We're not very close to you, it would be really expensive to get us there...

Cam i have spare rear axle shafts for a 60 in the garage...

Thanks guys. I have parts on the way. I've had to remove the carrier and getting the broken shafts out is proving very difficult.
