Not that most of us have any problems sharing our thoughts, but I would like everyone's advice.

I am considering selling the 60. I love it, but Mandy got a new TDI wagon and I am thinking about selling the 60 and our mini van and buying an FJ80. Obviously, it is not worth near what I have in it, but what do you think it would SELL for???

Basics
1984 FJ60
H55 with rebuilt transfer case
A few years ago...
Clutch assembly, 4.11's with lock rights front and rear, OME lift with anti-flip shackles, 16" rims with 33" Pitbullls (about 80%), ARB front bumper with Warn XD9000. Some body dents, but very little rust. Good body parts for most areas. Everythings works, AC, etc....Sat. Radio....

Let me hear it...any takers???

sell the mini van and pick up a 80 to dd and keep the 60 to wheel. lol

I can get ya $500 cash and you can keep the winch;);)

I bet!

The 80 I want is already built. I was hoping to get to one less car and still have a Cruiser. I may just wait and see how it all flops out in the next few months. If I can get a real offer, I might make the deal. I was hoping to get no less than $5000. If I get really crazy, I guess I could sell the bumper, winch, H55, lockers and then sell the truck with the OME lift???

On a serious note. I thinks a lot of our modified 60's are sadly worth more parted out. I am fairly sure I cant get the price of my additions out of my truck, much less the labor or the cost of the truck.

You're correct but nearly all of our toys are worth more in parts than as a whole. That won't change with an 80. I can certainly see trimming the fleet to reduce all the associated costs of ownership.

I don't know if Jason is aware that your rig is for sale. Seeing as Sarah caused the body damage :D maybe they would be interested in a well cared for 60 with a slight dent in the passenger's fender. I do know he has been keeping an eye out for 60's.

Well??

Jason knows about it and I think that he might be moving up this way. I would love to keep it around the club, but I just can't swing buying another rig before this one sells. I might even consider trading it for something???? I would like to get this 80 I found, but I would also consider a 1985 4Runner. I thought that I might have it traded for a Honda Pilot (atv), but I guess the guy thought his was worth too much. I would take $5000 today, but I will not go any lower. Hell the H55 is worth a third of that!
