I'm interested too !. I'd like to see how the heater hose relocation will be done on a 97 (it is actually a pipe with no hose)

x3.

Well, I have determined that the setup would be just like the earliers. You could cut your pipe and install the earlier hose, or intall a new pipe, personally I would cut the pipe.

But I have to get my hands on one to make sure.

Anyone in Idaho have a later version that wants to come my way?

I'm still very interested as I just found me a re-built York 210 and I'm gathering parts for the install.

I really like this bracket, but the solution for the heater pipe relocation in a 97 is a turn off. Going to a hose from a pipe seems like going backwards, when the whole point is to make our rigs more dependable and robust. Also, I don't have a welder or skills. I need something sort of "bolt on".

You can add more to the cost of the kit and still be very competitive. I'd be willing to pay more if you throw in there a good solution for the heater pipe.

Looking forward to hear more about this !!! If you want, I can take some pictures and email them to you. Just PM me your email address.

Thank you lumpdog!

Thanks for all your efforts on this. Im betting its turning into a slightly bigger task than you first assumed. :D

Thanks again man:beer:

First of all, if it does not entail drilling, tapping, and changing a flange, it really isn't a big deal. I don't know if you took a real close look to the heater pipe that needs relocation... it appears it can just be removed, cut down, and the section that would interfere with the York bracket just changed out to a piece of heater hose. I doubt it would seriously change the dependability of the truck. It is a low pressure coolant hose. If I had a bracket, I could install it and modify my 95-97 coolant pipe to help answer any questions about what to do with it. ;) :D

followed your earlier threads. thanks for agreeing to do this. please put me down for 1.

Ok, well, I should be pulling my bracket off to make the welding jig. I don't think the hose is a reliability issue at all. I would probably just supply the pipe relocation part that bolts on and let the installer figure out how to make everything else work out right. Still in the works though.

The 94 I have had the hose to clear the Pair valve, laters years didn't have it, so there was no need for it.

Thanks to everybody for their comments. I'm still interested. I'm sure something nice can be figured out for the heater hose on a 95-97.

Lumpdog, I second p8nt comment. Thanks for the effort.

If I didn't have a million things going right now, I would be quicker at getting these done. Thanks for your patience!

DELETED (wrong thread!)

Thanks,

Ok, so yesterday I removed the bracket and gave it the the production shop. Should know something this week about the status of getting these made.

DUDE....

You ROCK!

So if any of you are getting this bracket from Lumpdog and need some way to source a York... I have a fairly good source for them (the big 10ci model) and I'm selling them for $60 a pop + shipping. Head on over to this thread and let me know if you are interested and I'll try and get as many as I can.

Thanks!

I would be interested in some kind of "kit" that needed some welding. Besides the York, what would be a complete parts list? I am sure there are some drawings/pics somewhere? Can those be linked here for quick reference by someone that already has them? Thanks.

I'm interested in one of these brackets lumpdogg.

Did you read the write up I did on Planet4x4? If not check it out, the link is in the first post of this thread.
