Yet another noobie question

So, I was all ready to start the project and I noticed this... I went to SOR and it says it's a jet valve. My question, do I need it? If so, what does it do?

I have an 87 FJ60 that the PO did a hack desmog and all I have is the vacuum that will be going to the dizzy.

PS, I can't wait until my FSM gets here...

Not sure what it does, but it moves really easily on my 84. I'd try to fix it with JB weld.

Thanks man, I just heard from JimC, he's sending a replacement. Solid customer service! I can't wait to get it installed.
