Year specificity for oil seal in tranny front bearing retainer?

While I have tranny out thought I'd do easy seals and gaskets... local dealer parts guy said there are two p/n's for the oil seal in the fj60 tranny front/input bearing retainer, pre- and post- sometime in 1986.

What would be the difference? Might there also be a difference between h55 and h42? Wouldve thought all the same...

There is a difference in the two gaskets before vs. after 04/1986. You can look at the two pictures below. Get the one you need.

Anyone know what changed to merit the different gaskets and seals?

And is this same on h55 vs h42??
