Move it...

Rather than fight the nice looking front seat mounts, why not install longer lines and move your rear heater into the cargo area? Seems to work in Suburbans, etc. and wouldn't be all that different than the dealer installation into my brand new FJ40 back in 1973. Seems like all it would take would be some extra heater hose and some clamps.

How much room do you have...I have a heater from a 40 thats only 5 inches tall

the "motorcycle" in the search was prolly me as i put a moto radiator in the back for heat. works great.

tip: i found the big streetbike rad i did first to be too big and it lost enough heat in itself that it wasnt as warm as the original,,, but then i tried a dirtbike rad, and its perfect. they all seem to be about the same rough size so it wont matter what dirtbike rad you use.
