They are thick enough (3/16" IIRC) to reweld as I had to do it to one of mine - it's cast metal too. I almost went to Home Depot to try & find a replacement but I did remember that the hinges I saw were of thin guage metal, like 1/8". Post up that replacement hinge & info.....

No idea. Found 'em in a pig that was being stripped in Santa Rosa, Rondu (on PBB) got it, I think from a PMC raffle or something like that...
