I have a set of stock control arms on my 80 that have been setup with the OME CC bushings. I need to take my arms back to stock and go a different route with my caster. So, to save me and hopefully someone else trouble I will trade these straight across for some factory arms with factory bushings. You pay shipping to me and I pay shipping to you. I prefer to have the arms sent to me and then I will swap and send you my arms. My turn around time would be one day no matter what day I receive them.

If nobody bites I will be pressing out the OME bushings and putting in my old ones soon.

Send me a PM if interested.

If nobody bites for the trade, but someone wishes to buy, I have a set of stock control arms with factory bushings that were replaced at 90k according to the first owner (I believe it, full engine rebuild at 90k also before warranty went up). $200+shipping.

Start a thread and post pics and I may make you an offer...

What is weird is that 30 seconds before I sat down and saw this post I was thinking about the exact same thing as I will be doing a caster mod other than OME CC bushings that I have currently installed...

Who installed the CC bushings? Can you guarantee these were installed correctly? I am interested in going the 2.5 route with CC correction and need to know that the bushings were installed correctly. Sorry to ask.

Dave

I have to ask... were the bushing not enough correction?

I am about to do a "J" lift in a couple days and am planning on using the bushings.

I sent you a PM. I'm about to do a medium lift 2.5 OME and a standard 2 degree bushing CC would be fine. Can you confirm if this is SLEE or OME CC bushing? Also would like to know if they were installed correctly and your Control Arms are true/straight.

Dave

Trade-Interested

Sent you another PM...interested in trading my stock control arms. As far as i can tell...1st in line for trade interest.

Call me tommorow to discuss.

Dave

Dave is first in line and I will call you tomorrow.

These are genuine OME CC bushings that were installed by me exactly the way the instructions that came with them told me to do. Control arms are straight and true.

I recently had a caster check done and I am at 0*, which is 2* short of optimum. The ride isn't bad, but noticeable. I plan on using Landtank's plates, with stock bushings and a DC driveshaft.

Bat couldn't swing the down time on his rig so the offer is back up. I will plan on pressing out the OME's soon and putting my stock ones back in. No sweat either way for me, just was hoping to save someone the trouble of doing the bushings.
