WTK: 1st Gen 4runner Red, White and Yellow

Saw an awesome red, white and yellow 1st generation 4runner for a split second yesterday. It looked like a variation of the old toyota racing paint scheme. Whoever owns it was headed kayaking.

Thought about jumping off the tractor and trying to catch him for a picture! But, I will just check in here and see if he is a mud member. This was around the GA/TN line before noon.

Anyone know this truck? The paint scheme I'm trying to describe? Made me want to head out on a 4runner hunt.

I love those paint schemes, I considered it for mine since it's completely apart and changing the color would be easy. It was gonna be too much $$$, so I stuck with the original red. Might get the factory style stripes though, since mine had them when it was new.

Yes, it was a variation of that scheme. Looked like a new restoration. I only had a second to see it but it was bad to the bone.

That's my old truck. Well, it's my old truck a few months after I traded it to Cameron of the original Krawltex shop in Austin, TX. He did the paint and mods. The truck is now painted back to white. Cameron is now in Vegas doing custom builds and bumpers with his new company, Nefarious Customs.
