to be honest, i don't know if i have the money to convert to power steering at this point. i also don't know where to even start on figuring out what i need to do the conversion from what i have to the power steering...

sounds like defeatism, i realize, but i just want to get the darn thing back on (well, off) the road asap.

Could be a Jeep manual steering gear….otherwise it is off an old GM car..


Try hitting up a couple jeep sites and post up your pics of the steering gear.

Someone might no something.


I would convert to power steering....hit the FAQ and read about it...you could probably have it installed cheaper than you think...
