Does anyone have one of these they are not using? I am looking for a rafting setup and my cast iron is just too heavy. THanks

Great Idea! Chk Marketplace or Craigslist.

The Thrift Store has some Pretty Heavy Duty Aluminum Pots/Roasters with Lids but you would have to get Creative to Put the Coals on top ie Grill Rack with Feet. Wonder if a Aluminum Foil Twisted Rope would Work to Contain the Coals.

**Careful Aluminum Melts at about half of Temperature of Cast Iron

I have been checking Craigslist and local classifieds. They are pretty tough to come by and they are discontinued by the manufacturer. I just spent way to much money to buy one that was left in stock from Europe. Supposedly it is on the way, fingers crossed

Aluminium melting... Reminds me of a classic moment on one of my oz camping trips. Had an aluminium billy that we had on the fire, went for an evening hike up a rock outcrop to do some star gazing for a few hours. Came back to the camp spot and wondered where the billy was.... While away, it had boiled dry and then quietly melted away - on digging through the coals we found it  On returning to town, went and purchased a stainless steel billy.

cheers,
george.

My package from overseas arrived today and it looks great. Of course one was listed on my local classified site today at a fraction of what I paid ;)
