Would an LC 250 factory roof rack fit a GX550?

I like the look of the factory installed roof rack (the shorty one) on the new Land Cruisers. Would it fit on an OT+ roof? I would think they’re the same?

I can affirm, the Lexus OT variant of the rack is noisy, so much so that I pulled mine off the next day after taking delivery.

I think these look good but I had hands on one on a Tacoma and it felt way cheap.

Sadly, this seems to be the trend with the Lexus official accessories. Obviously, they did not have the same design team handling these as they had handling the vehicle itself.

The rock sliders are way too small. The dashcam is way too big. The key wallet is way too tight at the bottom. The roof rack is way too tall (and open to the wind). And the built-in air compressor, which looks more promising at first glance, is lost in some fabled land, filling balloons for sprites and satyrs as they dance with the unicorns.

I think the aftermarket and the used parts market on ebay will do well with the GX550.

Thank you so much for this post! I received my rack as a takeoff completely disassembled so I had to play Legos to get it to the point where it slid on the roof supports but it was a fun project. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this thread.

I have OEMLC RR/Crossbars for sale if anyone is interested. I live in Portland/Vancouver metro area. I ended up installing the Sherpa Atlas RR.

Does the roof rack come with any mounting anchors? I did not get any with mine. Who makes a good set the fits this rack?

Sherpa sells these but I have never purchased. I just use these drop in tnuts for the RR slots and screw 1/4-20 eyebolts into the tnuts, with those you can literally put a tie down anywhere you want on the RR.
