I work virtually pretty frequently via phone and internet. I like to go up to my local river and mountains to work for a few hours at time. I'm looking for ideas for a working flat desk that fits over my lap and is supported by the center console pad and the passenger door handle. I already have a steering wheel desk like this, and it's okay but don't like that it's at angle.
Any unique ideas that you have actually used, from you that work from your vehicle? I know there 1 dozens of ideas on Amazon, but most won't work the the 80 series in the passenger seat, or are really cheap and flimsy.

This is pretty close, but too heavy, bulky, and you have to drill holes in the center console.

No real input, but I'm curious what you come up with.

I've been looking at "power delivery" capable USB-C ports for keeping my laptop charged in this sort of scenario. There's always the inverter option, but it has to be more efficient to avoid converting to 120VAC and back, and running a USB cord right to my dash is a bit more elegant than dragging out a power brick.

I used to use a Jotto Desk laptop surface that was mounted to a custom solution I came up with years ago. I still have the mount but use a tablet for my GPS stuff. I bet I still have that Jotto Desk in the office!
