It doesn't take much to throw me off on wiring and I'm there already (thinking I'm right, but not sure). The taillights have two wires coming out ( green and green/white). The wires I have running to the rear are ......

Green.....lights
Green/white.....stop
Red/blue.....reverse
Green/orange......left rear turn
Green/yellow.....right rear turn

So my thinking is that I splice the turn signal wiring in with the brake stop wiring for the correct side.....is that correct? Thanks for any info!!

The GW wire is for the TRAILER brake light wiring, not the brake lights on the FJ40. Just leave the GW wire unconnected.

The FJ40 brake signal goes from the brake light switch to the turn signal switch where it is split and sent to each brake light. When you activate, say the left turn signal switch, the left side is disconnected from the brake light switch and connected to the flasher causing the brake light on that side to flash. Just like Living in the Past stated! :D

Thanks @Coolerman and @Living in the Past !!

I've been staring at 3 different schematics and couldn't pick that out (owners manual below).

Mark....with the help from your supplies and your tips it's slowly coming together.

Getting my electrical all working was part following the schematic and coolerman’s excellent on-line diagrams and part trial and error— all my original wiring was there but the PO bugggered it up. As I have said before, all electrical roads lead to the turn signal
