Hi gang,

Quick question
I'm looking for a wire in the engine compartment which has constant power when starting etc.
Is for the running lights in my high beam spots.
I don't want it to connect on the lighter switch.

solution:
Under the dashboard I found a wire which will have power when key is on ACC.
now I have running lights

Need a build year. Depending on the draw/watts you’re going to need a heavier gauge than any available wires under hood, and or should run a relay and heavier gauge wire back to the fuse panel or suffer dissatisfaction and overheated wiring (I refrain from saying “fire” because that would be dramatic… it just usually melts wires and breaks things..)

I think there are 2 open spades on the back of the fuse box. 1 is hot all the time and one hot with the ING is on. As @rlong, mentioned, use a relay and maybe an inline fuse so you dont fry the harness.
