Wiper Arms - Interchangability

Random but does anyone know what years will interchange.

One of mine has basically come apart so I only have one right now and yesterday I was riding in a buddy's 98 Tacoma and noticed the ends were the standard hook type. My current ones have a to have a pin put thru them and I would like to have the hook style.

I've never tried swapping between years, but I do know that they are slightly different left to right....

I know this is a bit old but yes they are interchangeable, my '86 had those fugly rusted arms with the adapters on the end and no cover on the bolt and when i got a new windshield i bought new flex wipers and realized i had the wrong adapter and couldnt find adapters so grabbed a set of later model hook style off a '93 at the wreckers and it was a straight swap, and looks 100% better like new finish and all for $10.
