I am trying to find a winter project, was thinking about rebuilding an old motorcycle but then decided to punch in fj40 into craigslist, there was an old add about one with a chevy 400 small block. This got me thinking.... maybe I should buy an old fj40 instead and get it up and running again.
Is this a bad idea? I only really have experience with the fzj80 and the hdj81.. figured the fj40 can't be that hard since there is very little electrical going on there.
Does anyone know of a cheap one for sale? I would like to avoid doing body work and would prefer one that doesn't run.
