Windshield spray pattern

Is it normal to only get a water gin like spray from the wiper fluid? If so anyone look at changing to a better nozzle to spread the fluid better on the windshield?

Yeah.. piss stream

I imagine many nozzles would work as long as they go through the cowl.. or maybe extend the line above the cowl slightly to allow for even further selection
