Hey folks.

BJ60-HJ60 dimensions needed.

I really need a precise measurement of the bottom width across the windshield WITHOUT the window in so I can weld the firewall back into place so the windshield will fit well.

I do have the old (cracked) windshield with the OEM rubber on it so I might try and get a measurement off the inside of the rubber edge across to the other side to give me a close number to aim for.

I think the front A-pillars moved outward when I released the firewall so I think I need to pull it back together, but if I go too far then the window wont fit.

Any thoughts are welcome...

Maybe search in the faq section or try asking in the 60 series section... just trying to give u options..

Thanks guys.

Cruiserpilot, I'm not sure I totally understand exactly what you're dimension explanations are, but maybe we can chat tomorrow about it?

Cruiserpilot, I measured the window that I removed with the seal on it and the measurement is very very very close to 58-1/4" :-)

I think I'm just going to go for it and weld it up. If it's too tight then I'll trim the sandwiched rail (the thin part which is sandwiched)...not that that's a wise idea but I'm ready to commit and get this thing done!

If I'm slightly too big then some extra sealer should do the trick.
