---Pics do no justice at all to that spot.I don't think that rock coming towards the driver's window would've been too cooperative to our trucks anyway.
Was that trail 39? A J**p buddy said 39 is a "good" trial but takes all day. I don't see it as an all day trail if it hadn't been so slick.
Although there's obviously a lot we have yet to see and try, I'd say we try it again the other way next time we go back. Is there any talk already of scheduling the next trip up there?Yep--39, also called rail trail i think.
All day-no way, but that said it took us 4 hours to cover the last 3/4 mile w/ D's "event" and the last hill climb. I think we probly ran it backwards, it would'a been a perty good trail the other way.
I have a pic that shows the flop before they got out. Is that an acceptable post?

K. I thought maybe the truck was ok as long as there were no peeps in the pic.tkinze said:normally no one would care but glad you asked before throwing it up --in this case--nope.

FELT like a bomb went off too! I'll be welding my diff plug too then shaving the whole housing smooth asap. Going to have to be careful with it this weekend at The Cove though since it's still sticking out from the trail repair.yep--on all accounts, thought bomb went off when you dropped off the rock. Was fun to watch
STILL can't believe you found that drain plug, must be a gift after the TC run last year. Mine will be welded in place this weekend!
Jay is the photographer
PIC 1:
There is a lot going on in this pic that isn't apparent... 1) that tire on the rock is actually about 2' above the ground - that's a long way to fall - ask me how I know :whoops: 2) My rear drain plug appears to still be present judging from the lack of an oil slick behind me - said oil slick began about 15' later just after experiencing the aforementioned 2' drop
PIC 2:
This pic makes that initial rock wall look enormous! Great job on the photography Ted/Jay.
PIC 3:
Josh's arms were probably burning here after about 10 minutes of turning around![]()
He was fine... It was Ted's and John's turns to tangle with a tree this time. Although I sorta did too, but I had the exo to help prevent serious damage (still almost popped a window though). Why does it look like Josh, got caught by another tree?![]()
