Terrain Tamer TEW 9500 — nice unit. The 3-prong connections on those TEW series are usually the same pinout as Warn and most other manufacturers, but there's a gotcha worth knowing. The three pins are typically: one for power in from the battery, one for power out to the winch motor, and one for ground. But the orientation can vary between manufacturers — some use a specific pin arrangement that doesn't match up with the standard Warn-style controllers. If you can't find a branded replacement, your best bet is to hit up an industrial electrical supply house. Show them the connector and they can usually find a compatible weatherpack or Deutsch connector that you can wire to your controller. Bring the old connector if you can remove it, or take a clear photo of the pin arrangement. One thing to double-check: on the TEW series, the ground pin is usually the one opposite the keyway in the connector housing. If you get the power and ground reversed, the winch will run in the opposite direction. Easy fix but annoying to troubleshoot in the field.
