I am still trying to find an engine for my 73 FJ55. I found a guy who is selling a F155, will that drop right in to my 55? If not could it be converted and for how much. Also what kind of specs are on that engine. Lastly its a solid running engine with a little oil leakage whats a fair price for it. I know thats a lot of questions. Thanks for any and all help. The F155 is what would have come with your Pig new - 3878cc (3.9L) with 125hp @ 3600rpm (209 ft-lbs torque). This engine should bolt right in - and mate up to your 3-speed w/o any modification. In contrast a 2F is 4.2L (4230cc) with 135hp @ 3600rpm and 210 ft-lbs torque...

Good engine that will last forever if setup right ... I'd offer him $200 or so (haven't seen the engine).

Awesome good to know. I might get the engine just so I can say one thing about it is original since I'm replacing so much, and doing so much to it. I asked the guy if he could get me some pics hopefully he can and I'll post them up so it will help with getting a value for the engine. Thanks Richard
