Will 33x12.50's fit?

31's is about max on a stocker, even then minor rubbing could occur.

A little freinly contact is always OK!!:D If you're not rubbin' you need bigger tires! But seriously...

It really helps alot to pound the pinch weld on the firewall (in the back of the wheel well) as flat as possible. Also if you cut a bit of the plastic inner wheel well off about 2 or 3 inches up from the bottom it helps eliminate alot of noise. The plastic tends to get ripped out and folded up with 33s.

The 1.5" lift with 33x10.50s really works nice. We also had a 4runner set up like that and it had very little contact. The BFGs available in this size are just awsome! Very effective for deep snow aired down to 7-12 psi. I have 34s on an '86 pickup with the 1.5" ball joint spacers and they hardly rub at all.

Everyobody else pretty much covered this, but I'll still throw in my 2 cents.

I ran 32x10.50 Swampers with no front lift, and a shackle in the rear. Then I went to 1.5" ball joint spacers up front.

Before I SAS'd it, I even drove it around to the store a few times with bj spacers, shackle lift, and 36x12.50. I would have had to tub the firewall a ton to make this setup work.

I have no problems with my 33x12.5s rubbing on my 89 pickup. I trimmed the fenders back and hammered back the pinch weld. On the passenger side I did tub it a little, as the pinch weld was rusted through.
