Wondering if a 15x7 alloy with an offset 8 will fit on an IFS 1988 pickup? From what Iʻve read, when this style came stock off the late 1st gen 4runners they were offset 15. 2nd gen 4runners with these wheels had offset 8. Do I need to modify a set of offset 8 with spacers so they will fit on my truck?
There was some information in this thread here, but I couldnʻt glean what I needed. Toyota rims
It appears that they are 8 backspace with 11.50 x 15 tires. There are no spacers or modifications that I can see to make this work. It does look like the torsion rods are cranked all the way up as it sits pretty high.
