Hi there

In my opinion the ultimate 4x4, 4 doors, tray and six cylinder engine.

Its a pitty Toyota never released these from the factory in this configeration (maybe one day). All our surface drilling vehciles are in this configeration - lots in the mining industry (the 100 series not a good vehcile for u/g).

Ps I still think the 80 is a far stronger than the 100 - still my perferred dual cab.

Yeah 100 series with 1HD FTE. The broad valve cover on the 1HD FTE makes it look like a 1KZ TE.
Ive only seen a few 90 and 120 chopped into dual cabs.

I dont know that I like the Prado so much anymore. After riding in my brothers 90 on bad roads up north ,I noticed the dashboard is about ready to fall out.
The poor thing has spent 180 000 klms on bad roads visiting remote aboriginal camps and all the clips that hold the dash are breaking and it now has 10mm movement when it vibrates.
Doesnt seem to happen on the big cruisers;)
He puts up with knowing there is a 120 on the way;)

They struggle to get rid of the chopped sections from 105. Ive seen brand new doors complete with windows and door trim for as low as $200AUD a set.
A lot of them get used in TJM or OL shops as displays to show you what a car fidge or Kaymar spare wheel rack will look like fitted:D
This yard also has stacks of hilux dual cab tubs cut off in favour of trays.

My bad everyone, when I first looked at this I thought it was the extra cab hilux, hense my dismissing that it was a 1HD-FTE. I see know it is a 100 series. Again my bad.

Cheers,

Michael
I have problems confusing 100 and 120s. You got to look at the grill.
Horizontal for 100 and vertical for 90/120;)

Give me a shout, i have a used one here ont he shelf and will consider a lot less than that!
This motor was for sale for $9,600.00 but that does not effect what it costs to rebuild the pump properly to specs. Also there are not many injection shops that have the machines to re do these pumps. Can your local shops rebuild double spring injectors and set them to the correct nozzle pressure and spray pattern? Just wondering.cheers

You guys are aware that you can get a BRAND NEW 1hz fully assembled with a full factory warranty from Toyota Australia for 6995 dollars? Might not be a 1HD-FTE, but it's the next best thing.

Is that from Bendigo or Ballarat Toyota?
Unfortunately WA dealers dont participate in the specials you get get in the east:mad:

A 1HD T would be the best option,less headaches;)

Ok, ask the price of the rest of the gear needed to run it. Thats why people buy complete motors secondhand. I thought that price for a 1hdfte with under 20,000 Ks was pretty cheap compared to most places wanting $11,500 or there abouts.
