Thanks for all the posts guys. Seems like I'm not the only one that has had a s***ty time at a Toyota dealer.

That sucks getting service like that, do you know who it was you where talking to? I know one guy there who is quite good. The guy I go to there used to be my manager at lordco. Names Damian. Tell him Steve lau sent you... You'll get the best service :flipoff2:

Not sure who it was I spoke with. I'll remember to ask for Damian next time though. If there is a next time. I'm still pretty miffed.

I got to know one guy there pretty good and has been excellent to deal with, actually got me a set of OEM BJ42 fenders at a great deal also.
I tell him what i need for a 42 and returns my call when convenient and with a discount. Fantastic guy, PM me and i'll give you the info.
I last spoke to Darcy about a year ago, was a little hard to deal with at first but over time got better. Familiar with 40/42/70 stuff, and she used to drive an old 42.

Thanks Rigpig, I'll shot you a PM today.

On another note, how was the compression?
Rob

Came down with the flu, so have not had the energy to check the compression yet. Hopefully this week. Is it ok if I borrow it a bit longer?

Just look at what Onur is going through trying to get non-US parts that are in the US system.... you have to apply to have them released and so on AND your not even guaranteed that you will be able to get them even though there are hundreds of said parts in the USA.

I know that he has to give toyota my Vin HDJ81-XXXXXXX in order to release the oil filters or something like that.... You would figure that they would want to sell parts, not put up more red tape correct?

Anyway I have never had a problem with the Port Moody Toyota, half the time they have told me its cheaper in the states LOL
