Why are all of the old threads locked?

I think it is Woody, the old threads are also locked in STLCA 's forum
 
I started a new thread on tech a couple of months ago when I couldn't add something into an older one that had been 'closed.'

Very shortly thereafter I got a message from Poser that said 'all you have to do is ask.'

This just came up again, and I sent him a PM. We'll see what happens.
